wefty Betsy

I'm just behind with photos lately. I've been tutoring at two schools and I spend my mornings talking to kindergarteners about sounds. Have you checked out a kindergarten classroom lately? Holy crap. I can't look at the walls for too long or I feel faint from overstimulation. If I ever teach elementary school, I'm going to feng shui my classroom.
All told, it took me less than three weeks to complete the four placemats for my mother's birthday/mother's day. Good thing I had a two week Spring Break in there. The placemats are all done now, and have been sewn and had their fringe rotary cut. I'm making matching crocheted napkin rings from the leftover Mango Moon silk ribbon, and will add beads or buttons. I'm also going to get some nice cloth napkins to complete the gift, I heard Pier 1 is a good place for that.
Anyway, until I take some FO photos, here's a photo of placemat #1 on the loom at TYF, taken by Fred.

Very nice!

I wish there was feel-o-vision.
