ewwww and ewwww.
Am I the only person who is totally grossed out by Austermann Step, the sock yarn with aloe vera and jojoba oil? If not, why am I just hearing about it? I understand wool has natural lanolin, but...ewww.
There's really nothing more to it than that.

Did you also see (I think it's Lang's)Emotion? Yarn with built-in scent - ginseng, lavender, and something else.

I am skeptical that a.) it is really in there and b.) it lasts more than one wash.

What's gross about it? Haven't you ever used lotion?
I thought it was a cool idea.

I recently bought some Step and didn't realize it had aloe and jojoba in it until I got it home. I'm knitting with it now and I'm really liking it. However, I'm really skeptical about it keeping your feet soft or whatever it's supposed to do. I guess we'll see!

I was creeped out by it at first, but it's great to work with and makes a smashing sock. I'm won over.
