Well...
With the support of my knitting crew, I've decided to knit the Tivoli again. I really love the color/fabric and I think once it fits, the shape will be flattering. Miss Grumperina helped me remeasure tonight and is redoing the "maths" as non-Americans say.
I'm looking for a designer's knitting web page, which possibly had a blog. It has the coolest faux argyle sweater on it, with layering of shapes to create the argyle effect. I think she also had an "elven woodland" pattern or something, a green sweater photographed outside. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I can't believe I didn't bookmark/del.icio.us this.
I'm getting close to finishing the striped sock (did I say that last entry?) and I have been experimenting with needlefelting on a recycled felted thrift store sweater.
Don't you hate it when people say "I'm too lazy to take pictures, sorry?" :X

Yay! I'm glad that you are giving Tivoli another try.

I'm pretty sure you're talking about domiknitrix!

Don't know about the designer. Your pattern is all ready to go, I was waiting to hear about the row gauge. I guess we're going with 18 sts/28 rows? I'll e-mail it to you right now.

knitters are awesome. delicious is awesome, too. Give furl a look, too, as it caches the page you were looking at. You know, just in case...

Delurking to say you're probably talking about Teva Durham - her website is www.loop-d-loop.com, and she has a fabulous book out by the same name - I wholeheartedly recommend it. I'm finishing a post-grad degree at the moment (in the final, painful throes) and am looking longingly at the things I'll knit when I have some free time again.

oops, nope, I suspect laura is right and you're thinking of the elfin goth sweater at dominknitrix. The green lace-leaf pullover pictured in the book section of loop d loop is lovely too though, one of the projects I want to have a go at when I get a chance...
